We all know that pregnancy is an emotional time for most women, and even the smallest, simplest things can make us turn into a bumbling, blubbering mess. It’s pretty easy for men to find themselves in the doghouse during pregnancy by making a comment that is taken the wrong way.

Well, today we are going to try to help you guys out, and give you a list of things that you should NEVER say when your partner is pregnant. Read on to keep yourself out of trouble! Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

“Oh, no!”

Or any other kind of negative reaction to a positive pregnancy test. Never say “are you serious,” “oh no,” “you’ve got to be kidding me,” or anything else of that nature. Yes, you may be thinking about it. Your partner may even be very well thinking it too! But, in no circumstance should you ever be anything less than positive and supportive when you are presented with the pregnancy test! This is one time that you should keep any negative feelings to yourself and be there to comfort and support your partner!

“Are you going to wear THAT?”

Believe us, we already know we look like a beached whale. We don’t need any hints from you. Plus, unless you are a multi-millionaire, it’s kind of hard to keep up with your growing bump and outfit it in the latest maternity fashions. So, if we’re wearing sweats AGAIN or our favorite jeans that just won’t button, just leave us alone! Don’t worry, we’ll be back to our fashionista selves soon enough!

“Do you need to eat that AGAIN?”

Cravings are weird. Not our fault. If you are sick of eating Auntie Anne’s pretzels or Mcdonald’s fries with Big Mac sauce for the 14th day in a row, then you are welcome to find something else to eat. Leave us and our weird cravings alone. Cravings aren’t always “normal”, they aren’t always “convenient”, and they aren’t always healthy. We are growing a human being for you, so try to cut us some slack!

“I don’t feel good.”

If you get a cold, a fever, pretty much any kind of illness during our pregnancy, we do NOT want to hear you whine. If you start whining about how many times you have thrown up, or how bad your head hurts, or how you can’t get comfortable at night, you are probably going to get an earful from us. Don’t be a complainer, and you should be all right.

“You’re acting moody/bitchy/emotional/hormonal”

You get the picture. If you think we were acting moody before, just watch us now! We probably ARE acting moody or hormonal, but we don’t need YOU to tell us that. If you really want to get our emotions in full swing, just tell us how emotional we’re being. You have been warned!

“I knew I was right”

Hold on there buddy. You are not right. Not today, and not tomorrow either. And probably not for the next nine months. And, even if by some miraculous chance, you are right and we are wrong, you better just let that slide. If you even think of mentioning your “rightness”, you are probably gonna be sorry. Real sorry. So, cut us some slack!
