One issue that celebrity moms are just beginning to get passionate about is VBAC, or vaginal birth after c-section. Many moms don’t think that they can go on to have a vaginal birth after already having undergone a c-section.

Many moms are misinformed and think that once you have a c-section, you are destined to have nothing but c-sections in your future. However, that is just not true. Read on for the scoop on some celebrity moms who are changing the misconceptions about vaginal birth after c-section.

Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson gave birth to her second son back in 2011 in a vaginal birth after c-section delivery. Her son, Bing, was born perfectly healthy, and the birth went off without a hitch, with little Bing weighing in at 7lbs, 12 ounces.

Kate Winslet

Back when Kate Winslet had her first daughter, Mia, it was via emergency C-section. Kate said that she was always a little bit embarrassed and ashamed that she hadn’t actually given birth. So, when her son Joe was later born in a VBAC birth, Kate says that the entire process was very healing for her, and allowed her to put all of her old demons and hard feelings about Mia’s birth to rest.

Michelle Duggar

Talk about your multiple VBAC’s! Mom of nineteen kids, Michelle Duggar has had single births, multiple births, vaginal births, c-section births, and multiple VBACS. According to our research, Michelle had a c-section with her second birth (twins Jana and John-David), followed by natural births all the way to her 15th baby, Jackson. Then she had vaginal births all the way up until she had Jordyn Grace, who is baby number 18. Baby number 19, Josie, was an emergency c-section who was born three months early.

Anne Dudek

Anne Dudek of Mad Men gave birth to her daughter Saskia in a VBAC birth that also included hypnosis and a doula. She had a really rough labor, and almost had to succumb to a c-section in the end when her labor stopped progressing, but with the help of her doula, she pushed through and delivered her healthy baby girl naturally.

Pink

While Pink might not be in the VBAC club JUST yet, rumor has it that she plans on joining very soon! Pink had plans for a natural, unmedicated birth when she gave birth to daughter Willow, but when Willow was breech, an emergency c-section had to be done. Pink says that the next time around, VBAC will be the way to go!
