It’s been a wonderful year for Evelyn and her fiancé, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford. The former Basketball Wives star gave birth at 3:55 a.m. MST on March 22 and the baby weighed 8 pounds and was 21 inches long.“I’m excited about being a mommy all over again. This is something I’ve been wanting for years and I can’t believe it’s finally happening,” she told People magazine during her pregnancy. So exciting for things to finally come together for Miss Evelyn.
However, things haven’t been completely perfect. Earlier this summer, her ex-boyfriend of ten years, former NBA star Antoine Walker, implied that she had been a gold digger during their relationship. In an interview with the Russ Parr Morning Show, Walker revealed “My thing with Evelyn is she reaped a lot of benefits of my wealth. And when it got tight, she chose to go a different direction. So that’s the problem that I have with Evelyn. That’s more personal…” Ouch. He really called her out on that one.
However, leave it to Evelyn to hit back, and hit back hard. She took to Twitter to express her feelings on Walker’s gold digger allegations, as well as her reasons for leaving him. The fomer Basketball Wives star tweeted: “Funny how he didn’t even know when we got engaged!
It was in 2006 not 2007 & he got left because he was cheating!” Lozada continued to tweet, “He was still playing in the league when I chalked up the deuces and before he filed bankruptcy, so please quit with the lies., He got left because he was cheating.”
Those tweets, as expected, have since been deleted, but Evelyn has left one tweet, asking Walker to move on. “I don’t talk about u why talk about me?! Move on it’s been 5 years!” she tweeted last Wednesday. Hopefully Evelyn and Antoine can move past their issues.
