It’s almost time for Kelly Rowland to give birth to her baby boy, and she knows what that means. She will be having two babies in her house very soon. She knows that her hubby Tim Witherspoon is still going to be a big old baby as well. “When the baby gets here, it’s not just one baby. I have two babies now,” Rowland told PEOPLE at the reveal of her namesake canteen bracelet timepiece from TW Steel in Beverly Hills. “My husband and the baby — you have to take care of both.” Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here
However, while she’s still pregnant, her hubby is the one taking care of her, including indulging her in her kooky cravings for things like chocolate ice cream and peanut butter. “I literally have a scoop, one scoop of chocolate ice cream and a teaspoon of peanut butter, and mix it all together,” she shares. “If I’m in the bed and I just really don’t feel like getting up, then he has been really wonderful at getting up and getting it for me.” What a sweet hubby, and we have to admit, that sounds like a pretty yummy pregnancy craving to us.
Kelly also admits that as her due date draws closer, she is getting more and more excited to meet her baby. “It’s like you’re really pregnant when you feel the baby move. You’re thinking to yourself, ‘Whoa!'” Rowland admitted. “Of course you know there’s life before that’s growing inside of you,” the glowing mom-to-be explained, “but then when you actually start feeling these different things happening—the flutters, and kicks and punches—it’s completely…I’m at a loss for words,” she gushed. “It’s mind-boggling. It’s pretty amazing. Now it’s getting to the time where I’m getting a bit antsy and I would really, really love to see the baby’s face,” she said. “I can’t wait.”
Kelly revealed that it’s not easy to avoid stress during pregnancy, but she is doing everything in her power to make things peaceful. “You really have to take it one day at a time because everything can be so overwhelming. One thought trickles into another and you want to make sure that you’re not overwhelming yourself,” she says. “I don’t want no cortisol levels going up. I just want to keep it very serene and calm for myself — and definitely for the baby — because that’s the kind of environment I’d want to bring him up in.” What great advice for all pregnant women to follow. Good luck to Kelly and her hubby Tim as they welcome their sweet little boy into the world very soon.
