Whatever happened to the old saying “keeping up with the Jones’”? Now we’re all trying to keep up with the Kardashian’s! Those sisters are too much sometimes, even for me to watch (I am a sucker for “reality” television). They are usually so loud and obnoxious that I tend to change the channel. She did not try to hide the issues; she allowed the cameras to follow her straight into a fertility specialist to get checked along with sister Kim on a particular episode in September of 2012. Kim turned out fine, Khloe ended in tears after finding out that she had not ovulated that month. What a tragic thing to hear at only 28 years old.
While I almost hate to admit that she did this the way she should- it is fact. She has done everything the way she should. She wasn’t too old but knew after a year of trying that she needed to seek medical assistance in getting a child. Her husband Lamar is 100% backing her as well. A strong support system is very important in situations like this.
Khloe has since been interviewed about this problem. “My mom has so many kids, and Kourtney pops them out like a PEZ dispenser, so you think it’s, like, so easy. You realize it’s not as easy as you might think.” When asked how she felt about revealing the news on national television she stated, “was really hard,” but “I feel like I’m helping a lot of people, but I’m still figuring it out for myself. Kim made a good point: ‘You can’t run from your problem.’ So it’s better to know what’s going on.” What a wonderful way of looking at this problem.
This is rare, most females will say “oh this sucks, I hate this” but you really need to look at the positive things, at least you found out and you are taking the proper steps to make things better.
Upon admitting that she was “trying the obvious” to get pregnant, she then acknowledged she was on hormones and the process is largely “trial and error.” I believe she is doing what she needs to do in order to get the final result of a baby. At 27 her body started to go down in the baby making department. However, she is still young enough to carry a child successfully.
