The beautiful English actress took to Twitter to announce her little man’s arrival the day after he was born.
“Our baby boy is finally here! Booker Jombe Parker,”
the Rogue actress tweeted on Tuesday.
“Born joyously at home yesterday.”
Yay! Congrats to Thandie and the whole family!
Thandie, 41, is a huge advocate of home births. Her two daughters, Ripley, 13, and Nico,9, were also born at home!
“My 3rd home birth with brilliant independent midwife Caroline Flint — and Carole Goddard @PhoenixMidwives,” she tweeted. “Keep independent midwifery alive!”
How great to see a Hollywood actess standing up for home births and midwifery! Thandie and hubby Ol Parker have been married since 1998, so it is very sweet to see they are continuing to grow their adorable family! It seems like Thandie was recovering quite well from her labor and delivery. On Wednesday, she tweeted:
“Blissed out with @NYR_Official supplies — from candles at the birth to Baby Balm for his skin — organic, gorgeous and nurturing.”
Even dad Ol Parker is getting in on the baby-bragging tweets! He tweeted:
“We had a baby, that’s a beautiful thing. He’s called Booker, and while he doesn’t do much yet, I suspect him to be awesome.” How cute!
The gorgeous star of the hit cop drama “Rouge” will no doubt be glad to continue working sans baby belly. Thandie previously admitted that it was pretty tough to work on the intense show during her pregnancy.
“Basically, I had two options; to withdraw from the show which would have meant the show collapsing, or to commit regardless. I’d seen actresses takes on meaty un-pregnant roles while carrying babies – Jodie Foster in Panic Room. My agent also reassured me that both Claire Danes and Anna Paquin worked well into their first pregnancies. We’re on episode nine, and are near enough to finishing for me to be able to chuckle at my naivety in thinking this was going to be anything other than mayhem, with a waddling lead actress at the center.”
Thandie confessed recently. We have zero doubts that Thandie has been anything other than awesome throughout her entire pregnancy! Our biggest congrats and well wishes for this adorable family as they welcome their new little guy to the brood!
