Stress is something we all live with on a daily basis. Do stress and fertility go together? Unfortunately, not only is stress uncomfortable for our bodies, but it can also cause health concerns as well. Being over stressed is something that can even cause our hormones to become unbalanced, which could make it harder to conceive. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

Ovulation

Ovulation is a critical part of the pregnancy process. During ovulation, an egg is released, which then travels into the uterus through the fallopian tubes. Once the egg reaches the uterus, it will wait for sperm to fertilize it.

If the egg is not released, a woman will not be able to become pregnant. This is something that could happen if a woman lives with too much stress. When her hormones are out of balance because of stress, ovulation may not be able to take place.

Sperm

Men are also people who tend to suffer from stress related infertility. Research shows that too much stress could lead to issues with sperm count and motility. When sperm is not able to swim around properly, this could mean that it struggles to reach the egg to fertilize it. Also, when sperm is low in numbers, there could not be enough sperm to cause an egg to become fertilized.

These are all things that can be affected by an excess of stress. Men who live with stress tend to struggle to conceive with their partner. Because of this, it is always best for both members of the couple to remove as much stress as you possibly can.

How to get rid of Stress

Some couples are able to get rid of stress simply by adding a few relaxation exercises to their daily schedule. This could be something like massage, yoga or acupuncture. Some couples are even able to remove stress by learning breathing exercises that help reduce stress.

In some extreme situations, it may be necessary to make some drastic changes to your life in order to get rid of infertility causing stress. This could mean changing jobs, moving, or even straightening out your finances before you are ready to become pregnant. While these items don’t typically coincide with infertility, many couples have found they help dramatically when they are trying to conceive.

If you are struggling to become pregnant and believe that stress may be an issue, it is always a good idea to take a look at your life and determine ways to remove stress. You may even want to talk to your doctor about ways you can cut down stress to make yourself healthier in the long run.
